This painting depicts a friend’s family farm, which is located in southern Maryland, close to the Potomac River. It was handed down from King George himself and has remained in his family ever since. It is about 450 acres, and if you walked the property, you would see the history of a once great plantation. This painting shows a cloudy day in late October, shortly after the harvest of the season has taken place.
