The Three Trees is inspired by a Rembrandt etching of the same name. In my etching, I wanted to show the beauty of these three trees. It had been a significant amount of time, since I had worked in printmaking. I created this specifically to continue my study of the rendering of trees in an etching. This etching shows a better understanding, on my part, of how the light interacts with the foliage of the trees.
